The reality of intersex individuals in Greece
Talk, 18:00- 20:00
Within the framework of the talk, an analysis will take place of what it means to be intersex, which terminology is appropriate to use when interacting with or referring to intersex individuals, and reference will be made to Law 4958/2022 and articles 17-20, which radically changed life and recognized the fundamental rights of intersex individuals in Greece.

Gender-based violence against LGBTQI+ individuals: Exchanging experiences and good practices
Workshop, 17:00- 18:30
In this networking meeting, representatives of institutional bodies and private organizations discuss the response of healthcare, legal and psychosocial services to gender-based violence against LGBTQIA+ individuals. The central axis of the meeting will be the Declaration of Intent, a commitment to tangible change in addressing incidents of gender-based violence.
The workshop will be followed by an open discussion.
Empowering the voice of LGBTQI+ individuals on gender-based violence
Discussion, 19:00- 21:00
Within the framework of the discussion, representatives of LGBTQIA+ organizations and bodies engage in dialogue with LGBTQIA+ individuals who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing gender-based violence in different social contexts, presenting their personal experience. The aim of this reflective dialogue is to strengthen the voice that LGBTQIA+ individuals already have regarding gender-based violence and the protection of their rights. In this context, the existence, adequacy and quality of protection services for LGBTQIA+ victims of gender-based violence will be discussed, with the aim of identifying and recording good practices as well as significant gaps in prevention and response systems.
