At the first "Words (can) do it" meeting for 2024, we explore poetry through translation as a gift, a challenge, and a political act
This is the 15th "Words (can) do it" event of the “1 x 2” format, where a translator presents their work on foreign-language or ancient Greek poetry. In this session, we meet the poet and prose writer Gianna Boukova as a translator of Bulgarian and Russian poetry.
In his sleep he sang the perfection of his dreams
