Once upon a time, we met a storyteller in a place filled with books
And with her stories we travelled to places that no one ever looks…
You’ll be amazed to see what the sound of a kalimba, and a little bit of a bird whistle can do in sparking imagination. With our guide, Ms. Aggeliki Stamatakopoulou, we travelled to places we’ve never been before… to lands far far away. First, we met Tsirtsonis, a brave young man, who fought a great, but very unfair dragon. Then, we heard the story of a little boy, who had only one (just one!) toy – his precious, melodic, little bell which was kept hostage by a big, stubborn tree! And then, came a sly fox, who tricked a small, good (and perhaps just a tiny bit naive?) wolf, who just like that was robbed out of his honey!
And if you think that the names or the stories ring a bell? Well, you’re probably right! Names might change and the stories (just a bit) but the magic is always there! That’s what a fairytale is all about! And that’s why they’ll be with us for years and years to come!
So, as the fable of the fox taught us, stories have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Reaching the end in our story then, we only need to let you know that Tsirtsonis, the fox, the wolf, the little boy and his little melodic bell, … all lived happily ever after!
