PlayLab II is an interactive, experiential workshop that offers children a creative introduction to American culture through play, collaboration, and discovery. Each themed unit invites children to explore the English-speaking world through stories, music, art, celebrations, traditions, and aspects of everyday life across different cultures.
Through dramatic play, storytelling, music and movement, visual arts, exploration challenges, and collaborative projects, including a parent-child scavenger hunt, where children develop their creativity, curiosity, communication, and teamwork while engaging in meaningful cultural experiences.
The workshop draws on contemporary educational approaches, including Play- and Inquiry-Based Learning, elements of the Reggio Emilia approach and the Original Learning Approach, as well as multisensory techniques such as TPR (Total Physical Response) and S.P.I.C.E., creating a rich environment where English becomes a natural medium for creativity, exploration, and cultural discovery.
