This 16-hour Project Management course follows the PM² Methodology, developed by the European Commission to establish a common language and shared processes within the European Union and facilitate communication among organisations implementing co-funded projects.
Through practical workshops, the seminar covers the steps involved in managing a project, from planning to completion. Participants explore the essential tools for planning, organising and staffing, establishing a budget baseline, controlling and reporting, project team building, stakeholder management, project communication and risk management.
PM² Certification is intended for professionals involved in projects of any kind who need a simple, user-friendly project management methodology to help them work more productively.
The seminar also prepares participants for the PM² Certification exams, a valuable addition to their CV. Developed by the European Union, the PM² Methodology is for everyone!
PM² Methodology (pronounced P-M-squared) is a project management methodology developed and supported by the European Commission. It is also used by numerous European institutions, as well as large and small private-sector organizations.
It draws on experience gained from implementing European Union projects and, above all, incorporates key principles and expertise from established best practices, international standards and other project management methodologies. Open to everyone in the spirit of open source, PM² promotes the vision of a unified, free, shared and straightforward project management methodology for use worldwide. Knowledge of the methodology provides an additional advantage for professionals involved in preparing proposals for EU-funded projects.
PM² is a straightforward methodology that can be applied to any type of project, regardless of its complexity, duration or number of stakeholders.
