Young Greek artists talk about art in a time of crisis…

Hellenic American Union Theater

In a period of constant change, the art community is experiencing a rise in new potentials. Five artists based in Athens, talk about the problems they confront, the solutions they have found for these problems, and the results of their efforts.

Is it true that art blooms and creative thought is fostered during economic and social decline? The talk will cover a wide range of artistic subjects, focusing on how the crisis has affected and has been affected by art. The purpose of the talk is for the artists and audience to discuss alternative forms of funding, presenting and promoting new artistic projects.
