Poetic encounters: “Words (can) do it”
Alecos Lountzis and Marios Chatziprokopiou read poetry...

In this event, two contemporary poets of the new generation, Alecos Lountzis and Marios Chatziprokopiou, read their own poems, old and new, published and unpublished, but also some of their favorite works by other poets. An open discussion with the audience follows the reading.
Alecos Lountzis published his poetry collection Propaganda: certain letters for certain things in 2015, for which he was awarded the Emerging Poet Award by "O Anagnostis" online magazine. Marios Chatziprokopiou is a poet and performance artist. His poems have been published in periodicals and he has performed in Greece and abroad. He is also the Greek translator of Brazilian author's, Clarice Lispector, works (The Hour of the Star, Antipodes Publ., 2016 and The Passion According to G.H., Antipodes Publ., 2018).
