Presentation of Giannis Efstathiadis' "Anthropoi apo lexeis" and "Prosopolatries", in cooperation with Melani Publications....

Prosopolatries (Personality Cults) is a collection of 27 personal essays on the life and work of artists and writers such as Seferis,Sinopoulos, Carouzos, Dimoula, Daskalopoulos, Papadiamantis, Engonopoulos, Skalkottas, Theophilos, Ganas, and Triantafyllidis.
Anthropoi apo lexeis (Men Made of Words), which borrows its title from the poem by Wallace Stevens, consists of three novels, Epsilon for Eros, The Sardine will Swim in the Can, and Don Juan. Each novel gravitates around men who are ‘constructed’ of words that are related to each specific theme: love (Epsilon for Eros), intrigue and mystification (The Sardine will Swim in the Can), deterioration of human relations (Don Juan).

Giannis Efstathiadis was born in Athens in 1946. He has published poetry, novels, short essays on music under the pen-name Apikios as well as gastronomic texts. He is also a music producer in State Radio Program - Trito Programma (Third Program).
