Director of the Department of Photography at Yale University since 1979, Tod Papageorge presents and analyzes his art and views on photography. The lecture is organized on the occasion of his first solo exhibition in Athens, in Xippas Gallery. Through his teaching Papageorge influenced hundreds of his students, including several who are considered among the most highly acclaimed photographers: Gregory Crewdson, Philip Lorca di Corsia, Anna Gaskell, Katy Grannan and Abelardo Morell.
