Winners of the 2012-2013 Essay Contest


On Saturday, April 13, 2013, the final round of the 2012-2013 Essay Contest Going Green: Helping to Create Environment-Friendly Schools was held at the Hellenic American Union. Final round participants came from Athens, Thessaloniki, Nafpaktos and Korinthos.

The first-prize winner of the Essay Contest for the academic year 2012-2013 is Tsimpita Konstantina from the Foreign Language School Amalia Pagoni.  The first prize is a Notebook computer.

The second-prize winner is Peppas George from the Foreign Language School Giannou Eleni. The second prize is a Netbook computer.

The third-prize winner is Ioannidou Kyriaki from the Foreign Language School Kamariotou Margarita. The third prize is a Netbook computer.

  • Markopoulou Sophia (FLS Lexicon Group – Melas Anastasios)
  • Miliori Christina  (FLS Kitea Aikaterini)

These winners will be awarded books and dictionaries.

All Essay Contest participants have already received a certificate of participation through their Foreign Language Schools.

The Hellenic American Union organizes the Essay Contest as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting Foreign Language Schools in their efforts to provide their students with the best possible foreign-language education.
