Propell® Workshop for the TOEFL iBT® Test

The Hellenic American Union in cooperation with ETS Global will hold a Propell® Workshop for the TOEFL iBT® Test.

What is the workshop about and who is it for?

The Propell® workshop is a one-day professional development program designed to help English-language teachers meet the challenges of teaching English to students. It is intended for English language teachers who already prepare students to take the TOEFL test or would like to feel prepared to do it. The workshop provides instructional techniques and strategies for using the integrated-skills approach to teaching language and for preparing students for success. It uses examples from the TOEFL iBT® Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing test sections. Teachers will receive a Propell workshop kit that will guide them through stimulating sessions on teaching techniques and activities and help them learn more about the benefits of the TOEFL iBT test. The workshop is also an opportunity to interact with peers and provide feedback to help us improve and develop assessments that meet their needs.

Where and when is the workshop going to be offered?

The Propell® Workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 (10:00am – 17:00), at the Hellenic American Union premises, Massalias 22, Athens.

How much does it cost to attend?

Participation is free.
The participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the workshop.
