WACC and the Optimal Capital Structure

This training begins with a description and discussion of the main accounting parameters that are relevant in the context of capital structure and cost of capital. It examines the CAPM model in order to understand the connection between a firm’s cost of capital and its value, and illustrates with multiple practical examples and case studies how this is adapted in practice. The last session of the course looks at the technical aspects of calculating the WACC of a firm, given the understanding gained from the previous sessions.
