Hellenic American Union's statement regarding the cooperation announced between Universities of Michigan and Cambridge
On the pretext of informing the public or conducting alleged research, anonymous sources—some of them clearly malicious—are circulating outrageous rumors with regard to the cooperation that has been announced between the Universities of Michigan and Cambridge.
In all its long history of cooperation with Foreign Language Schools, teachers and candidates, the Hellenic American Union has steadfastly upheld the principles of transparency, open communication and quality in the provision of services.
Τhe cooperation between the two universities provides no cause for concern. We anticipate that this cooperation will only benefit the educational community. Any announcements regarding the language tests will continue to be made in a timely and clear manner. There is no change at the moment, and certainly no announcements, except those that the Universities have already made. You can thus go ahead with your plans for the school year free from the alarmism of the grapevine.
You can rest assured that the Hellenic American Union continues to place the highest priority on keeping you as well-informed as possible and on serving your interests. These we will continue to serve and to defend. Now as we have always done—and will continue to do.
